Conditions of contribution

By contributing your story to the Sainsbury Archive, you enter into an agreement with The Sainsbury Archive / Museum in Docklands concerning the content, publication and copyright of your contribution. Details are provided below and you must agree to these before contributing your story.

Terms and conditons

• I understand that I own the copyright in my contribution to The Sainsbury Archive.
• I give my permission for The Sainsbury Archive / Museum in Docklands to use my contribution for display, or for publication in print, or on The Sainsbury Archive / Museum in Docklands website, and to disclose my name on publication*.
• I agree that the material I provide may be preserved as a permanent public reference resource. This may include use for research, publication, education, performances, lectures, broadcasting, the internet and future technologies, at the discretion of The Sainsbury Archive / Museum in Docklands.
  I agree not to submit any unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene or otherwise objectionable material.
• The Sainsbury Archive and Museum in Docklands retain the right to select and arrange work (i.e. edit text or remove work from the Museum in Docklands website) at their discretion. The Sainsbury Archive and Museum in Docklands are under no obligation to publish the work submitted and may refuse to publish submissions

*  A list of contributors’ names and addresses will be kept in case of editing queries and in order to maintain a record of copyright owners. Only your name will be published with your associated contribution. No other details will be published on the website. We will not use your details for any other purpose or pass them to third parties without your permission.
