The Sainsbury Study Centre, located at Museum Of London Docklands, provides access to a range of archival material.

New

From Friday 27 November, the Sainsbury Study Centre will re-open to the public with brand new displays. These showcase the history of the Sainsbury company, with sections on the Sainsbury family, uniforms, advertising and the development of packaging since 1869.

There is also a new section on the Port and River Library and Archives. Highlights include signed letters by  Ernest Shackleton and  Captain Robert Scott relating to the British Antarctic Expeditions.

The Information Zone will continue to operate as before with books, maps and computer resources relating to both collections available for browsing during Museum opening hours, whilst appointments can be made to visit the Search Room for in-depth research in the archives.
