Lauren says: "When I took the photograph I really liked the fountain, so I merged them together to give it an effective look. I plan to work in fashion design in the future."

Crispin says: "The boy in the middle looks thoughtful and morose amidst the overbearing architecture but the photographer has used montage to make him the centre of our attention rather than allowing him to be lost among the buildings.  Our eyes are drawn to the camera in his hands and we wonder what he will decide to photograph.  I also love the way his legs come out of the picture as though he is more real than the background.  There is a painting of Henry VII in the National portrait Gallery in which the king's hands come out of the frame just like this."
