Sarah Gallian's digital image: one image of woman standing on patterned flooring, and another image of man walking on patterned flooring combined to look like one image and flicked downwards in symmetry

Sarah Says:

'My idea for this picture was to make and merge images to make the whole picture look like an eye. I am hoping to work in the field of Fine Art in the future.'

Crispin says:

'This picture is playing games with symmetry.  At first you think the picture has been flipped left to right, but it hasn't. A lot of people thought this about my photographs of the Thames.  Once you realise the picture is not symmetrical you start to become obsessed with looking for differences between the two halves, like looking at photographs of twins. I also like the drama in the picture.  Your eye is drawn to the man with his leg poised to just above the pavement and you wonder if the woman with the red bag is following him with a camera.'
