Spend the day together as a family…If you’re looking for something fun and free for all the family to do during this winter then come along to Museum of London Docklands for a great day out that everyone can enjoy, from under 5s to over 60s!

FREE adult entry 2-5 April. Kids go free all year round!

Easter egg creatures

Mon 5 Apr, 11-11.30am, 12-12.30pm & 2-2.30pm
Come and make a tasty chocolate creature and find out all about chocolate in this hands-on, sweet and sticky workshop for under 5s and their carers.
FREE but tickets allocated on arrival 2+

Put yourself in the picture

Tue 6 & 13 Apr, 12.30-1.30pm & 2.30-3.30pm
Dress up, have your picture taken and then see yourself in one of the old photographs from our collection. Ride an elephant, arrest a suffragette or much more.

Victorian working life: tales and tunes

Join us to hear stories about children working in Victorian London. Dress up, play an instrument.

Would this be your dream job? Come along and join Brenda Coyle in her quest for the perfect chocolate bar. Learn the history and the contents of your favourite chocolate bar and how it makes the journey to your local corner shop.

Meet Maeve the Victorian pub landlady in Sailortown. Drop in for a chat -you'll find Maeve has some amazing stories to tell.

Champion of the sweeps

Join us to hear the legend of Elizabeth Montagu whose young son was allegedly kidnapped for his fine clothes. Years later, she found him working as a chimney sweep and every May Day after that held a feast for all the young chimney sweeps of London.
