Museum of London Docklands for Families

Spend the day together as a family…If you’re looking for something fun for all the family to do then come along to Museum of London Docklands for a great day out that everyone can enjoy, from under 5s to over 60s!

Family favourites

From Roman settlement to Docklands’ regeneration, unlock the history of London’s river, port and people in this historic warehouse. Discover a wealth of objects from enormous whale bones to World War II gas masks in our state-of-the-art galleries, which include Mudlarks, an interactive area for children, and Sailortown, an atmospheric re-creation of 19th century riverside Wapping.

Take cover in a bomb shelter, see what London Bridge was like in medieval times and discover the gruesome fate of captured pirates! And there’s no need to cram everything into one visit. Children enter the Museum FREE of charge while adult tickets allow unlimited admission for one year so you can come back as many times as you like, leaving you time to enjoy a relaxed, stress-free day out.
