We have an exciting programme of activities for children under five and their carers at Museum of London Docklands. Learn, play and explore together in our weekly sessions and holiday events especially for our younger audience and their carers.
Mini Mudlarks babies group

Learn, play and explore together every Monday during term-time in our Mudlarks gallery. The session is for babies aged 6 months-walking and their carers and includes stories, rhyme time and an opportunity to meet others in a relaxed setting.

Please call the Box Office on 020 7001 9844 to book your place in advance on the Friday before the Monday you would like to visit. Booking opens at 10am for termly ticket holders and at 12 noon for single session tickets. Termly tickets can be purchased from our Box Office.
Under 5s storytime

Join us in our galleries for stories, music and fun every Thursday during term-time, then come and play in Mudlarks.
Then come and play in Mudlarks afterwards! No advance booking is required.
Holiday events for under 5s
In the school holidays we have special events for under 5s and their carers. Events are aimed at under 5s but older siblings are welcome.
Tickets are allocated on arrival. Please collect a ticket from the Museum front desk before the event.

Campfire songs and stories

The sun is setting over the forest... Come and play instruments around the campfire, explore the sounds of night animals and sing songs about the moon and the stars in this interactive musical session, inspired by the Girl Guiding exhibition. Especially for Under 5s and their carers, older siblings welcome. 6 months +
October half term
The Big Draw at Docklands: Building London!

Come and help us make a giant model of London, full of fantastic buildings! This is a creative workshop for families as part of our Big Draw day. Suitable for all children aged 2+
Tricks and tales

Join our storyteller and Anasi the spider in his garden. He may need help digging his yams or he may be tricking Tiger out of his dinner. Meet his friends Cunning Fox and Snappy Crocodile and have fun chattering with the monkeys. An interactive workshop for under 5s and their carers with stories that celebrate Black History Month. Older siblings welcome. 2-5 yrs
