Getting to Museum of London Docklands

The Museum is situated on West India Quay in the heart of London’s historical Docklands, close to a wide range of quayside bars and restaurants and the shopping centres of Canary Wharf.

The Museum is easily accessible from A13 via A1261 and the coach drop off point is on Hertsmere Road directly behind the Museum. There is an NCP Car Park on Hertsmere Road and coach parking is available on Trafalgar Way near Canary Wharf or at the Excel Centre on Victoria Dock Road.

The Museum is also accessible via riverboat; enjoy a 10-15 minute journey on a Thames Clipper riverboat from Bankside or Maritime Greenwich Pier to Canary Wharf Pier. Call 0870 781 5049 for times and prices.

Arriving at Museum of London Docklands

On arrival groups should enter through the Group entrance at the back of the Museum where they will be greeted on Hertsmere Rd. Groups should allow a minimum of 1.5-2 hours for a visit.
