Meal options for Groups

Museum of London Docklands has launched a range of exciting new dining options for groups including picnic and tea break options, as well as seasonal dining in the Museum's restaurant 1802 bar, lounge & dining.

Groups can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with a slice of homemade cake, pick up a picnic bag or sample dishes from our menu which features traditional British food with a modern twist. With prices ranging from £4 to £14.50 for three courses and a free meal* for the group organiser there is sure to be an option to suit every group’s needs!

Group dining options

Individual Picnic Bags

£5 per person

Individual picnic bags will contain a sandwich, cold drink, piece of fruit and snack bar. A choice between a set regular Picnic Bag or vegetarian Picnic Bag is available.

Tea Break

£4 per person

Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with a slice of homemade cake. Visitors will be able to choose from a selection of fresh cakes on the day. 

1802 dining menu

1802 bar, lounge & dining has a 70 seat restaurant and offers menus inspired by traditional British food with a modern twist. 1802 offers a weekly special menu with 2 courses for £10.95 or 3 courses for £14.50. For further details please e-mail 1802.docklands@museumoflondon.org.uk

Terms & Conditions:

  • All dining options must be booked and paid for a minimum of 7 days prior to visiting the Museum.
  • Booking of dining options can be made when booking admission or tours.
  • For Picnic bag and Tea Break options the Museum will provide a voucher for each group member to redeem at 1802 during their visit.
  • Group organisers will be required to specify the number of people requiring the vegetarian picnic bags at the time of booking this menu option. 
  • Our 1802 dining menu is seasonal and, therefore, subject to change. Group organisers will be advised of the current range of menu options available at the time of enquiry and will be required pre-order from a set menu at time of finalising their booking. Groups will be notified in advance of their visit should there be any change to their order. 
  • Please advise the booking officer of any allergies, intolerances or vegetarian preferences at time of booking.
